Annual Meeting of Max Planck Research Group Leaders

In April 2019 our meeting was held at the Max Planck Society headquarters in Munich.

 

In 2019 we welcomed new Max Planck Research Group Leaders who gave us thrilling presentations about their new research programs.

This included presentations from each of the sections:

• GSH – Molly Henry, Sietske Fransen and Heidi Colleran
• BMS – Danny Nedialkova, Valérie Hilgers and Sebastian Glatt
• CPT – Silvia Viola-Kusminsky, Michael Zuerch and Karoline Schäffner

 

We were also pleased to host guest speakers including Maximilan Prugger (Deputy Secretary General of the Max Planck Gesellschaft), Directors of Max Planck Institutes, and speakers from the Gesellschaft administration and Max Planck Digital Library.

 

Since it was the 50-year anniversary of the Max Planck Research Groups being established, we were also honored to welcome our special guest speaker, Dr. Günther Gerisch. One of the first research group leaders to be appointed to the CPT section in 1969.
